Dear Writer,
I would have appreciated more information before responding (i.e. if you take points off for wrong answers) but I'm answering anyway:
1-d; 2-d; 3-c; 4-c; 5-d; 6-d; 7-d; 8-a; 9-a (since your blog is such a "foodie" one); and 10-d (not guessing on this one).
Notice a pattern that if in doubt, try "d" (especially if "d" is all of the above)
Short answers--1)--an alpaca has storter notes and ears (proves that I read your blog)
2)--micros are the size of airport shuttle buses with more seats; combis are old vans with a few rows of seats with a sliding side door (again proves that I read your blog)
The try-breaker is tough--The answer should probably be someplace in Peru but, having never been there, my answer is Jerusalem (although it was difficult to come up with one place and many, many came to mind). As to why, it a magical place, special to many religions, with colors, sights, and air that is different than anyplace that I have been (and great memories).
